Opportunities to Serve

Listed here are the most current servant needs at LakeRidge United Methodist Church.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Ushers & Greeters

    We are currently in need of members to volunteer as ushers and greeters on Sunday mornings at either the 9:15 or 10:30 a.m. service. If you would like to volunteer for this ministry, please call 794-4015.

  • Kitchen Help

    Our kitchen in the Family Ministry Center is in dire need of someone who is willing to keep our kitchen clean. This includes wiping down cabinets and counters, straightening drawers, and cleaning the refrigerator out weekly. This ministry should require no more than one hour per week, at your own convenience. Please call Lori (794-4015) for more details and to volunteer.

  • Teachers

    We are in need of teachers for our Summer Sunday School. We don't need you to teach, but only come, hang out, and supervise our kids. If you have any questions or are interested, please contact Kim at 794-4015, ext. 521.

  • Tape Ministry

    Sunday Morning Tape Table Team: Host the Tape Ministry table in the foyer between the 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. services and after the 10:30 service. Take orders for new tapes, pass out copies of audio and video tapes, collect funds, record orders in order notebook. Time commitment is two 15 minute time slots, one or two Sundays a month as scheduled by the team leader.

  • Vacation Bible School

    We can never have too many volunteers for VBS, the first full week in June. As we prepare to minister to nearly 400 children, we build character like Jesus. Contact Kim Davis for details at 794-4015, ext. 521.
