Laura James

Laura, her husband Kent and their two children, Austin (16) and Avery (12), moved to Lubbock from Georgetown, Texas. While living in Gerogetown, their family was involved at First Baptist Church where Laura served as the drama leader for 3-6 grade students. She has also been involved in teaching Sunday School, leading AWANAS, and teaching missions. While in Georgetown, Laura owned an art studio where she taught art classes to children and adults. Laura believes that it is important for kids to use their gifts and talents for God and is very excited about Vertical Praise and having the opportunity to develop the talents of the kids here at LakeRidge.
